Better drinking water at your kitchen sink.

A dedicated under-sink reverse-osmosis system provides treated water for drinking, cooking, and washing produce through its own faucet. The model we recommend will be selected and described according to verified performance, household demand, available space, and maintenance requirements.

Your regular kitchen faucet still handles dishes and everyday use. The dedicated RO faucet beside it is for drinking, cooking, and washing produce.

How it works, at a high level

  • A pre-filter stage comes before the membrane.
  • The reverse-osmosis membrane is the main treatment stage for the water sent to the dedicated faucet.
  • A final filter stage comes before the water reaches the faucet.
Point-of-use, not whole-home. RO treats only the water at the dedicated faucet. It does not treat showers, laundry, or other taps. For the rest of the home, see whole-home filtration and softening.

Wastewater and maintenance

Reverse osmosis sends some water to the drain as part of normal operation. The filters and membrane need periodic changes, and your written summary lists the schedule for your system.

Tankless, under the sink

The tankless unit takes up little under-sink space. It is part of the Whole-Home Standard, and a standalone installation can be scoped separately.

Pick a faucet that matches your kitchen

The dedicated drinking-water faucet comes in four finishes, so it fits right in with the rest of your kitchen hardware. No upcharge games, just tell us which one you want.
